Paul Jacob Bashour is a Lebanese-American abstract artist celebrated for his immersive visual experiences, emotional depth, and distinctive approach to contemporary art. Born in the United States and based in Los Angeles, Bashour draws heavily on both his multicultural background and a deep appreciation for texture, memory, and nature. From a young age, he demonstrated a fascination with visual storytelling and pursued art as a medium to explore the tension between chaos and harmony.

Bashour’s professional journey began in creative direction and production, eventually merging into a full-time focus on fine art. His early work explored abstract forms and urban surfaces, culminating in his breakout series Subtle Crude, which laid the foundation for a growing collector base. Over the years, he expanded his practice to include photography, sculpture, and multi-sensory installations.

In 2024, Bashour debuted PULSE: The Rhythm of Earth at Soho House West Hollywood, an elemental exhibition that captured the forces of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water through abstract forms and raw texture. Later that year, he launched The Walls of Roma, a collection inspired by the layered patinas of Rome’s architecture, blending travel, memory, and visual abstraction into powerful statements on history and erosion.

Beyond visual art, Bashour has contributed to the film industry with credits in major films such as Skyfall (2012) and A Cure for Wellness (2016), highlighting a multidisciplinary talent rooted in cinematic and artistic intuition. His work has been exhibited privately in Los Angeles homes-turned-galleries and commercial showrooms like Ricca Design in Beverly Hills.

As of 2025, Paul Jacob Bashour continues to redefine the boundaries between fine art, experiential storytelling, and emotional resonance. His immersive exhibitions and intimate viewing experiences have established him as a rising figure in the contemporary art world.
